Making Children Well… at the Montreal Children's Hospital

Cora would love everyone to know how to cook and to eat right.  It's why she helped fund the renovation of a therapeutic kitchen in the Montreal Children's Hospital’s psychiatric unit.
At this establishment, the mission and philosophy regarding psychiatric patients has changed.  Previously, these patients could be hospitalized for long months.  Today, they are encouraged to return to their communities as soon as possible, with strict follow-up, of course. To help these young patients, the pediatric psychiatry team strongly supports the organization of individual and group activities in a pleasant and safe environment.  The renovation of the therapeutic kitchen, completed thanks to a donation from the Fondation Chez Cora, is helping to create such an environment; the children come here to prepare meals and spend time with staff members.  They are proud of their accomplishments, and both their self-esteem and their health is improving...

All elements that count a lot for Cora Tsouflidou!
