Getting up and eating well is the first step into having a good day. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day for so many reasons. It’s good for your body and soul. Have breakfast and you’ll feel how it works!

For concentration

Whatever your age, eating breakfast has a positive impact on your ability to concentrate. Research has shown that schoolchildren who eat breakfast generally get better marks. At school, just like at work, what you eat in the morning has a big impact on your performance.
 
For family time
With our busy schedules, breakfast can be a special time to share with our family. Although the newspaper, the radio or the TV may be distracting, a delicious breakfast gets everyone’s attention. 

For energy
Your car won’t go far on an empty tank. Neither will your stomach. No matter what the day demands of you, it will be a lot easier after enjoying a good breakfast. You don’t have time? Grab a cereal bar, some yogurt or a piece of fruit. It’s important to at least have a minimum amount of fuel.

For combating moodiness
This should make you smile. U.S. researchers assert that a good breakfast reduces irritability, hyperactivity and even absenteeism. So the next time someone in your family wakes up in a bad mood, hand them a banana.

For having a healthy and varied diet
Breakfast is the best meal of the day for eating fruit and fibre – something we never get enough of. Garnish your oatmeal, French toast and waffles with berries. Add some banana, bran or oat bread to your cereal. There’s no end to the possibilities. Go ahead, treat yourself!

For maintaining a healthy weight
It’s a fact that people who eat breakfast tend to stay slimmer than those who skip the most important meal of the day. Why? One reason is that breakfast foods are generally healthier than the pastries or energy drinks we might have as a snack. Also, people who take the time to eat breakfast are often more reasonable with the size of their portions throughout the day.
