Reporting to the Warehouse Director, the Logistics Team leader coordinates, oversees, and optimizes administrative activities related to logistics operations. As the Director’s right-hand, the Supervisor manages the daily operations of the team, develops effective tracking tools, and implements innovative solutions to improve operational efficiency.
Supervise, coach, and motivate the administrative team dedicated to logistics.
Plan, assign, and follow up on daily tasks to ensure deadlines and priorities are met.
Act as the Warehouse Director’s replacement during absences and provide support in both strategic and operational responsibilities.
Create, maintain, and improve Excel spreadsheets for data tracking and analysis.
Automate certain administrative tasks to reduce delays and minimize errors.
Ensure the quality, accuracy, and compliance of administrative documents (purchase orders, delivery slips, invoices, reports, consignments, etc.).
Monitor inventory and complete periodic and annual reconciliations.
Collaborate closely with operations, procurement, accounting, and warehouse teams.
Train new employees and provide ongoing support to the team.
Produce and present performance monitoring reports and key performance indicators.
Manage schedules, absences, and performance evaluations of the team.
Ensure franchisee complaints are addressed and assist with more complex action plans.
Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements related to logistics and documentation.
Communicate changes and news effectively to franchisees through a weekly memo.
Excellent communication and team management skills.
Strong organizational abilities and sense of priorities.
Rigor, attention to detail, and a quality-driven mindset.
Analytical thinking and the ability to create and interpret performance reports.
Advanced proficiency in Excel and an interest in process automation.
Ability to solve problems quickly and effectively.
Initiative and adaptability in a fast-changing environment.
Degree in administration, logistics management, or a related field.
Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in an administrative logistics role, including at least 2 years in supervision/team lead.
Proficiency with office tools (advanced Excel, Word, Outlook) and Sage.
Basic accounting knowledge.
Knowledge of transportation and supply chain procedures and regulations (an asset).
Bilingualism in French/English, spoken and written (supporting franchisees outside Quebec).
