Plain crêpe mix

For a breakfast full of flavour!

Ingredients: Whole wheat flour, sugar, whole egg powder, soybean oil, salt, baking soda. Contains: wheat, eggs.

Availability: Find this product near the baking section of your favourite store.

Preparation:

Combine 1/2 cup (75 g) of CORA Crêpe Mix with 1/2 cup (125 ml) of milk or plant-based milk in a bowl. Mix vigorously with a whisk until smooth and consistent. 

Lightly oil a non-stick pan and heat over medium-high heat. Add 1/4 cup (60 ml) of the mixture to the centre of the pan. Swirl the pan to spread the mixture evenly. When the edges begin to brown and easily lift away, after about 1 minute, flip the crêpe using a spatula.

Continue cooking for about 30 seconds or until cooked through. Remove from pan. Makes about 3 crêpes.

These crêpes are delicious all on their own, but don’t hesitate to dress them up as you like. For example, as soon as the crêpe is cooked, add some ham and your favourite cheese before folding it over, so the cheese and ham stick to the crêpe. An authentic Cora treat!
