Construction Project Manager (Junior role)

If you are dynamic and would like to manage projects, the Development team is waiting for you!

The Construction Project Coordinator coordinates the construction of new restaurants and the renovation of existing restaurants. Furthermore, he/she insures the application of the brand standards in all design, construction and general improvement projects.

Some of the responsibilities are…

Coordinate permitting, bids and construction of the new build process (OTL work section review;  source and coordinate:  architects and other mandates,  surveys,  bids and permitting, scheduling;  ordering and coordination of delivery for CORA supplied items; track final budgets and deficiencies;

Maintain all process tracking tools, forms, budgets, etc.

Coordinate and manage some renovations and special projects

Source new suppliers in an effort to standardize and reduce costs

Provide improvements to the current new build and renovation process (quality of plans, reducing construction costs, etc.)

Experience required:

5 years of construction coordination experience or 2 years in construction project management

Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, CAD, MS project (an asset) and related industry programs

Other:

Well organized

Assertive; not afraid to follow up and insist on solutions

Initiates solutions / problem solver – not wait for an answer – find it / push it !

Willing to travel (regular travel required)
