Training Consultant

The Training Consultant provides training to new franchisees and their employees during the opening or transfer or renewal process of restaurants for Quebec in management, cooking, customer service and fruits. He or she is also responsible for providing continuing education to restaurants and to the Training Center according to their needs. In addition, he or she participates in the updating and development of training plans and training manuals for the network.

 

Some of the aspects of the position...

  • Give the various training sessions to franchised restaurants and training center (for employees and franchisees) in Quebec, Ottawa and the Maritimes according to their needs or the opening, transfer or renewal process;
  • Advise franchisees on operational working methods and provide the necessary corrective measures;
  • Produce a training report for each training given and monitor it;
  • Participate in the improvement and the update of all training plans, training manuals and make the appropriate corrections of work tools for the network;
  • Develop new training plans and new working tools for the network;
  • Provide support to the R & D department;
  • Participe to restaurant openings.

We are searching for...

• DES minimum or DEP in restaurant business (asset).

• 2 to 3 years of experience in a related position or holding different positions and ideally have managed restaurants

• French and English, spoken and written

• Knowledge of Office Suite

• Very good oral communication

• Availability to travel

Paralegal (4 or 5 days per week)

* College diploma in paralegal technology;
* Good knowledge of corporate law, business and real estate, an asset;
* Minimum of 7 to 10 years of relevant experience;
* Excellent in English and French, both spoken and written.

Reporting to the Director of Legal Affairs, some of the tasks are...
* Prepare various corporate documents, including keeping the corporate books of the various companies up to date and preparing documentation during transactions;
* Write, edit, revise and update various legal documents (franchise agreements, confidentiality agreements, commercial contracts, letters, reports, etc.);
* Follow up on the tasks related to the files (respect of deadlines and different legal deadlines);
* Manage and track renewals, transfers and leases;
* Manage and maintain the database of contracts and legal documents of the company;
* Conduct research in various public registers (REQ, RDPRM, land register, etc.)

An overview of the position…

  • Meet Managers and employees to determine and analyze their business needs
  • Realize projects: planning, analysis, prototype, design, programming, debugging, training, user support and maintenance (existing and new program, BI, IP telephony, etc.)
  • Offer technical support to users for CRM and internal software
  • Manage some IT and telephony projects
  • Redact documentation related to programming
